Born and raised in Los Angeles, my journey has taken me across different cities and cultures, shaping both who I am and the work I do.

I spent my college years in Chicago before moving to the East Coast, where I lived between New Jersey and New York and began my early professional experiences.

In my mid-20s, I moved abroad to Seoul and Hong Kong, where I spent several years growing personally and professionally while building something of my own.

Those experiences broadened my perspective and deepened my understanding of people from diverse backgrounds.

Eventually, I returned home to Los Angeles, where I’m now based—bringing together everything I’ve learned along the way into the work I do today.

Clinician | LA County Department of Mental Health | LAPD, Mental Evaluation Unit, SMART

LAPDLACDMH

In this role, I serve on the SMART (Systemwide Mental Assessment Response Team), a co-response model that pairs mental health clinicians with law enforcement to respond to psychiatric emergencies in the field. I provide real-time crisis intervention, de-escalation, and assessment, helping connect individuals to the appropriate level of care while supporting safer outcomes for both individuals and the community.

Director of Purpose Therapy | Seed House Project

SHP

In this role, I led therapeutic programming for transitional-aged youth (age 18-25) experiencing homelessness, providing individual and group therapy focused on trauma, substance use, anxiety, and depression. I also collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, supported and supervised interns, and helped create meaningful, growth-focused experiences for youth navigating major life transitions.

Therapist | Mental Health Clinician

Throughout my clinical work, I’ve provided individual, group, and family therapy across diverse settings, including substance use treatment and community mental health. I’ve supported underserved communities across Los Angeles through outreach, crisis intervention, and by connecting individuals and families to critical mental health, medical, and community resources—helping expand access to care and strengthen support systems for those most in need.

Education Leader | Private Sector Academic Programs

For over 5 years, I worked in the private education sector supporting students and families across Los Angeles. In this role, I led operations across multiple tutoring centers, managing and developing a team of 100+ staff while supporting thousands of students and families—helping

expand access to academic support and contributing to stronger educational outcomes across the community.

Founder & Educational Consultant | U.S. & Asia

For over 10 years, I worked as an educational consultant across the U.S. and Asia while building and leading my own practice. I supported students and families through individualized academic and admissions strategies, while also leading a small team of tutors and staff. Through this work, I helped Los Angeles students access higher education opportunities and navigate competitive pathways toward long-term success.

Pray. Lead. Serve. Together.
